It is fully software compatible and has an improved ESD sensitivity level compared to previous models. These resistive pressure sensors have automatic power-off (on/off) switching. Suitable applications include weather control systems, adventure or multimodal viewing, mobile altimeter/barometer systems, and GPS receivers. Six coefficients are stored on the chip for software compensation in the absolute pressure range of 10-1100 mbar.
